Jainism is another largely practiced religion in India and was introduced by the Parsvanathas. Evolved at the same period as Buddhism, this religion shares some common philosophy with Buddhism. The followers of this religion are known as Jains. There are two different interpretations of the religion – Svetambaras and Digambaras.
