Punjabi Prop Dancer in Fair

Bhangra dance is a combination of the different dances of Punjab like Luddi, Giddha, Saami, Kikli, Jhumar, Julli, Daankara, Dhamal, and Gatka. Dancers wear bright colored dresses and a turban is a must for the Punjabi folk dancers. Since, Bhangra is mainly performed by people of Sikh community, they wear turban as part of their religious custom, but non-Sikh people also wear turban while performing the traditional Bhangra folk dance.
