Stringed musical instrument - Dotara

The Dotara is an important two or more stringed folk instrument which is basically used by the folk artists in Bangladesh and West Bengal. It often resembles a small guitar in appearance. Though the name Dotara literally means “two stringed instrument”, in practice the instrument may have more than two strings, sometimes four strings in number.
