A native of Madagascar, the flame tree is said to be the world\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s most colorful tree by some of its admirers. Indeed, during spring and some weeks of summer, the exuberant display of flame red flowers clustered together dazzle the viewers. Known as gulmohar in hindi, it is widely found in India. The trees can grow up to 30-40 feet tall with delicate fern like leaves and spectacular bundle of ravishingly red flowers. |
