A yakshgan dancer

Yakshgan is an eminent folk dance form of southern part of India. Traditionally, this folk dance was performed at temples of south India. The dancers wear a headgear, heavy golden ornaments and traditional costumes in this folk dance. The elegant and graceful dance is one of the major attractions of Loktarang festival.
