Purulia chhau dance

Chhau dance is a traditional folk dance west Bengal. Mainly performed in Purulia, the dance depicts scenes from Hindu mythology or epics. The dancers wear masks and headdresses while dancing. The dance requires body fitness and acrobatic movements. This dance is also an attraction of loktarang festival, the folk dance festival of India.
