Yakshgan dance - folk dance of Karnataka

Loktarang, the National Folk Dance Festival of India, is the celebration of many folk dance forms of India. Yakshgan or Yakshagana dance, performed at this festival, is a folk dance form of Karnataka. Bright colored costumes along with bright make up are the signature marks of this classical folk art.
