Steps leading to Chatris
Forts, palaces, historic and religious monuments that are scattered all over the state are among the major tourist attractions in rajasthan. Located near the beautiful city of Jaipur, Gaitore is one such religious place, which is visited by large number of tourists. Gaitore is a cremation site of rajput royals and houses several beautiful cenotaphs. The cenotaphs are wonderfully decorated with typical patterned chhatris that are symbols of rajput architecture.
