The tallest monument in India, Qutab Minar was built by Qutabuddin Aibak as a mark of his throne’s might. This red sandstone tower is a walloping 72.5 m high, tapering from 14.32 meters at its base to 2.75 meters in diameter at its zenith, and alternating in rounded and angular grooves. |
