Brainchild of Qutabuddin Aibak and completed by Iltutmish, the Qutab Minar is a gem of architecture. Towering tall into the sky, to a height of 72.5 m, it tapers from a base of 14.32 m to 2.75 m at its top. It is without a doubt one of the best stone towers in the Indian subcontinent and one of the most important landmarks of Delhi. |
