Different architectural patterns of Qutub Minar

All the five storeys of Qutub Minar are bounded by a projected balcony and supported by stone brackets, which are bedecked with intricate honeycomb designs. The first three floors are of red sandstone and are heavily concaved with various styles of grooves, alternating with a round and angular one on the bottom floor; round on the second and angular on the third floor. The fourth and fifth floors are constructed of marble and sandstone.
