The arched entryway to the mosque Quwwatu’l-Islam Masjid sited adjoining the renowned Qutub Minar in the very Qutab Minar complex in the city of Delhi is an architectural splendor of note. Carved chunks of stone and materials from the remains of the Hindu Temples were used to build this mosque. The structure is beautifully ornamented with excellent brocade decorations and Islamic inscriptions. |
