Young male blackbucks

Blackbucks, the endangered antelope of India, have been part of the Hindu mythology and revered as sacred animal by some Indian ethnic groups like Bishnoi. Originally habitat of open plain in large parts of India except in north-eastern part, currently blackbucks can be found in Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujrat.
